The Harold and Pauline Price Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the UCLA Anderson School of Management is a recognized leader in entrepreneurial education and research. Through its Management Development for Entrepreneurs (MDE) Program the Price Center will offer an executive development program that will enable entrepreneurs to develop essential management skills, strengthen their ability to build and manage effective and profitable organizations, and provides access to a network of fellow alumni, Anderson faculty and staff, and sponsor organizations. Through MDE, entrepreneurs complement their entrepreneurial vision with strategic and tactical skills that allow them to further develop their managerial competencies.
Pacific Coast Regional (PCR) offers a variety of loan and educational programs to support business growth. PCR works with approximately 35 banks throughout Southern California and provide an intensive series of business management classes.
CDC Small Business Finance is committed to assisting all small businesses and over the past three decades has developed a number of alternative small business lending programs and products. This includes starting three Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), being an SBA Microlender, and being one of the first SBA 7(a) Community Advantage lenders in the country. In the last three years the organization’s Small Business Programs (loans under $250,000) have assisted 269 small businesses obtain financing for $28.9 million and created or retained over 2,000 jobs. In addition, it has worked with nearly 5,400 businesses, providing them guidance and advice on small business programs.
